Preview for Easter

The Following announcement has appeared on the Malton & Norton Web site.

"A Girls rugby tournament is to be held at Malton Easter Saturday 22nd. 2pm kickoff

A team of Essex under 18s & under 15 girls are coming on tour to Yorkshire, staying a Boggle Hall, nr Whitby, and the yorkshire rfuw co-ordinator has taken it as an opportunity to bring together a tournament which at the moment has 7 clubs from Yorkshire attending plus the tourers.

The aim is that everyone who wants to play rugby will be given opportunity to do so, in evenly matched games as possible, second aim is to show off some northern hospitality & humour. A tour theme has been adopted "flat caps & pidgeons", the kitchen & bar will be open all afternoon, with a buffet kindly provided by the southerners who intend to stay into the evening. There will also be the traditional kangaroo courts & post match games too."
